Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Caliptic runs on your own machine or your own servers. Your issues, projects, files and agent activity stay there — they are not sent to us.
1. Self-hosted by design
Caliptic is installed and operated by you. Everything you and your team put into it is stored in the database and file storage of your installation. We do not operate that installation and cannot see its contents.
AI agents run with the tools and model providers you configure. What they send to those providers is governed by your agreements with them, not by us.
2. This website
This website is static and hosted on Cloudflare. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. A single cookie remembers your language choice. As our hosting provider, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP addresses and standard server logs for security and delivery, under its own policies.
The download page asks GitHub’s public API for the latest release, and download links point to GitHub; GitHub receives the usual technical request data when you use them.
3. Payments
Paid plans are sold and processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller for Caliptic. When you buy a plan, Paddle collects and processes your payment and billing information under its own Privacy Policy and Buyer Terms. We never receive or store your card details.
4. License validation
To activate and keep a paid plan valid, your installation contacts our license service about twice a day. It sends only the Paddle transaction or subscription identifier and a random installation identifier. The service asks Paddle whether the subscription is active and returns a signed license that contains the billing email and company name Paddle holds for the purchase, so they can be shown on your License settings page.
The service keeps one record per purchase: the installation identifiers it is active on, and whether it was refunded. It stores no content from your installation. Installations on the Free plan do not contact the license service at all.
5. Data we hold
As the seller we can see order and subscription details (for example order status, billing email and company name) in Paddle’s dashboard, to provide support and manage subscriptions. If you write to us, we keep that correspondence.
6. Your rights and contact
You can contact us at [email protected] with any privacy question or request. For data held by Paddle as Merchant of Record (billing details, invoices), please also refer to Paddle. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available here, with the “last updated” date above.
